Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data IT Garage LLC collects when you use RankSolo, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and what you can ask us to do with it. For the purposes of the GDPR and the UK GDPR, the controller of your personal data is IT Garage LLC. This policy is published in English only.

1. What we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. We never receive your Google password.
• Content you submit. The description of your idea and everything derived from it: the brief, the search phrases, the analysis and the report.
• Usage and technical data. Server logs with IP address, browser and device details, requested pages and timestamps, plus error diagnostics.
• Correspondence. Messages you send to our support address and the files you attach to them.

We do not collect payment data, because the service is free during beta and no payment method is requested. We do not use your content to train our own models.

2. Why we use it

• to create and operate your account and to run the analysis you ask for;
• to keep the service secure, to detect abuse and to control the cost of paid data;
• to fix defects and to understand which parts of the product are used;
• to answer your messages;
• to meet legal obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract (running the service you signed up for), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product improvement) and legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

3. Who processes data for us

We use a small number of service providers who process personal data on our behalf and on our instructions:

• an identity provider, which authenticates you and gives us your name and email address;
• an AI provider, which receives the text of your idea and the derived briefs and phrases in order to produce the analysis;
• a search data provider, which receives the search phrases we check and returns search volumes and search results. It receives no account data;
• an error monitoring provider, which receives technical error reports. From your account we send only your user identifier, never your email address;
• an analytics provider, which collects usage statistics about pages and interactions on our website;
• a hosting provider, which runs our servers and our database.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We ask our processors for appropriate security measures and enter into data processing agreements with them. We will name any of these providers on request: write to support@ranksolo.app.

4. Where data is processed

Our application and our database run on servers located in France (EU). Some of the processors listed above operate in the United States and elsewhere, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another valid transfer mechanism.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics to measure how the website is used. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google provides an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics. Blocking necessary cookies will sign you out of the product.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and your content for as long as your account exists. After you ask us to delete your account we remove your account data and your content within 30 days, except where we must retain something to comply with the law. Server logs and error reports are retained for a limited period and then discarded.

7. Deleting your data

The product does not yet have a self-service delete button. Write to support@ranksolo.app from the address on your account and we will delete the account and its content manually, within 30 days.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to object to or restrict processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to support@ranksolo.app with the subject "Data request". We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is limited, and secrets are held outside the code base. No service is perfectly secure, so we ask you not to send us anything you would not want stored on a server.

10. Children

The service is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect, and material changes will be communicated by email or in the product.
